After a fierce battle, the mainland monsters were ultimately sealed within Toga's fangs. Time returns to the Sengoku period, and a shard of the Shikon Jewel flies into the Forest of No Return, awakening the son of the mainland monster leader, Magatama Maru. To unleash the power sealed by Toga's fangs, Magatama Maru sends his followers, Ruri and Glass, to lead Inuyasha and his companions to the Forest of No Return, tricking Inuyasha into using Tetsusaiga to break the barrier. As the barrier disappears, the sealed power from over a hundred years begins to revive, and Magatama Maru grows increasingly powerful. Meanwhile, Glass and Ruri take away Coral's mica and the sorcerer's wind hole, causing Inuyasha's side to fall into a fierce battle; on the other hand, Kagome's consciousness is controlled by Magatama Maru, and she is forced to use an arrow to seal Inuyasha once again, only to be pushed into a dry well by Kikyo, traveling through time back to the modern era…
