In a world that has been fully explored in every corner, the only remaining secret realm is the vast cave "Abyss." No one knows where it leads; a bottomless, massive vertical cave, home to marvelous and strange creatures, and lying dormant are precious relics that modern humans cannot create. The incredible form of "Abyss" attracts people, driving them to embark on adventures. Thus, adventurers who repeatedly challenge the great cave have successively earned the title of "Cave Explorer." Riko, an orphan living in the town "Os" built on the edge of Abyss, dreams of one day becoming a great cave explorer like her mother and unraveling the mysteries of Abyss. One day, sparked by the discovery of her mother Lyza's white whistle, Riko decides to dive into the depths of Abyss. The robotic being Reg, who has lost his memory and was found by Riko, decides to join her in search of his own memories. Riko was poisoned by a venomous creature in the fourth layer of the deep realm. It was "The Relic" Nanachi who saved Riko.
