"Nie Xiaoqian" (English: Nie Xiaoqian), originally titled "Rescue the 21 Grams of Love," is a 2016 Taiwanese idol drama. The series received a grant of NT$5.5 million from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China for the general category of HD television programs, as well as NT$1.5 million for 5.1 surround sound. Starring Chen Ting Ni, Li Ming Shun, Mo Zi Yi, and Ji Pei Hui. Filming began in March 2015, and it premiered on China Television on February 21, 2016, at 10 PM, succeeding "Must Marry Women." It was broadcast on the Chinese channel at 10 PM on February 27, 2016. The story follows Nie Xiaoqian (played by Chen Ting Ni) as she travels 500 years into the modern world, encountering the reincarnation of Ning Caichen (played by Mo Zi Yi) and the Taoist priest Yan Chixia (played by Li Ming Shun), who has always cared for her. This leads to a complicated love triangle involving humans and ghosts, further complicated by the vengeful tree demon Granny (played by Liu Song Ren).
