The espionage drama "Extreme Hero/Poisonous Sting" tells a historical story set in 1949. In 1949, although the Liberation War was nearing its end, the enemy's strength in Shanghai remained incredibly powerful and nearly invincible. All initiatives were in the hands of the enemy, while we revolutionaries found ourselves constantly trapped in the elaborate nets and traps set by them... Late at night in the alleyways, a group of patriotic scientists, escorted by the Communist Party, secretly evacuated Shanghai. However, just when they thought everything was going smoothly, they were already deep within the enemy's encirclement, awaiting a multi-faceted attack from the ambushed Kuomintang spies. Amidst the hail of bullets, Ding Zhihan, a girl returning from studying in the United States, managed to escape by the selfless rescue of underground party member Zhu Zhonghua. Unfortunately, like all the other scientists, her parents could not escape their fate and were left to die in the streets. Her savior, Zhu Zhonghua, was also captured due to his injuries. The repeated failures of their operations made the Shanghai underground party realize that a traitor was hidden within their ranks, like a poisonous thorn deeply embedded in our organization. In order to confirm the identity of the traitor known as "Earth Dragon," Ding Zhihan bravely continued to lurk undercover, unaware that her identity had already been revealed to the traitor Yu Shenglong. Yu Shenglong set the final trap, and Ding Zhihan became the scapegoat for the traitor "Earth Dragon," imprisoned in the enemy's death prison, and also placed on the death list by the underground party organization. With the liberation of Shanghai, Yu Shenglong retreated to Taiwan. In a moment of crisis, Ding Zhihan and Lan Fei were rescued from the death prison. They risked their lives to return to Yu Shenglong's office, hoping to find secret evidence to prove their innocence. However, the outcome was far beyond her expectations... Who is the real traitor? Can Ding Zhihan clear her name? Ultimately, where will her heart belong?
