The film tells the story of Michael (played by Edward Furlong) who participates in what seems to be an exhilarating game through a DVD, but during the game, he inadvertently kills a sleeping man in reality. When he wakes up, he finds himself extremely excited, experiencing a thrill and happiness he has never felt in his life. However, the next day when he sees the news, he is shocked to discover that the murder actually occurred. Subsequently, a second DVD arrives, and Michael decides to end this ridiculous game. To his surprise, the mastermind behind the game appears from Michael's computer as a person with a distinct identity, threatening him to keep playing. The mastermind begins to provoke Michael to confront his fears and hallucinations, causing him to gradually lose the ability to distinguish reality from illusion. He falls into an inescapable hypnotic state, with the mastermind completely controlling everything about him, leaving him unable to tell what is real and what is fictional.
