Andy Matichak ([Moonlight]) and Emil Hersch ([Into the Wild]) will star in the horror film [Son] (temporary title), written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh ([The Last Right]). The film tells the story of a mother who escaped a cult as a child. After becoming a mother, members of the cult expose her child to a terrifying illness, the cure for which is even more horrifying than she imagined. The film is set to begin shooting in the U.S. in January 2020.
