Based on the comic of the same name, it tells the story of four 12-year-old newspaper girls who inadvertently get caught in the conflict among time-travelers on the morning after Halloween in 1988. They are sent on a time-traveling adventure to save the world. As they travel between the present, past, and future, they meet their future selves, and now they must choose to accept or reject their destiny. This is an emotional adventure where the girls and the women they ultimately become are strong, their friendship is genuine, and their time-traveling journey is epic. Huang Ali plays the adult version of Erin Teen, and when the two Erins finally meet, they are forced to confront the gap between childhood hopes, dreams, ambitions, and the realities of adult life.
