Horror film director Koji Kuroishi (Koji Shiraishi) brings his assistant director Miho Ichikawa to investigate a house deep in the mountains. There, they meet Maria Miyoshi, a beautiful woman who is a fan of Kuroishi's films and is mentally unstable. She desperately claims, "What I experienced is exactly the content of the director's movie." As they stay in the eerie Maria's house, Kuroishi's camera begins to capture unexpected phenomena.
