Danny (Martin Freeman) is just an ordinary worker, and amidst his monotonous daily life, his future is a complete blur. One day, in a twist of fate, Danny is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Upon waking, he is astonished to find himself in the body of a woman named Veronica (Rachael Stirling). Veronica is a fashion magazine journalist with a bright future ahead, and so, Danny begins a brand new life in Veronica's identity. Under the dual pressure of Veronica's boyfriend Jay (Paterson Joseph) and lover Ali (James Lance), Danny realizes he must find a way to return to his own body. Danny revisits his former workplace and meets colleague Peter (Marshall Lancaster) and Fiona (Angela Griffin), the girl he secretly loves. Through his interactions with them, Danny discovers a whole new side of himself.
