The cult series "The Kingdom," directed by Lars von Trier in the 1990s, will have a third season, which will also be the final season, consisting of five episodes. Set in a surgical psychiatric ward in Copenhagen, the show combines absurdity and dark comedy. It was originally planned to have three seasons, but production was paused after two seasons due to the passing of main actors Ernst-Hugo Järegård and Kirsten Rolffes.
