Palestinian refugee Mo Najjar crosses the boundaries of two cultures, three languages, and a plethora of nonsense, constantly encountering various obstacles on his path to American citizenship. His family, including his strong-willed mother, sister, and brother, fled to Houston, Texas. Laughing through the pain, Mo learns to adapt to his new world, even though the road to success is fraught with setbacks. This heartwarming comedy is created and produced by comedians Mo Amer ("The Vagabond," "Black Adam") and Rami Youssef ("Ramy," "Mr. Robot").
