Makoto (played by Ryuhei Matsuda) is a struggling photographer on the edge. One day, he receives a letter from his ex-girlfriend Shizuru (played by Ryoko Hirosue), stating that she will hold a photography exhibition in New York.   The box of memories opens, recalling their story from three years ago, which began with a beautiful orange. Their split originated when Shizuru asked Makoto to teach her photography. Although she initially wanted to integrate into Makoto's world, Shizuru exhibited extraordinary talent, quickly winning a newcomer award at a photography competition. This stirred jealousy in Makoto, leading him to propose a breakup, while Shizuru promised to meet him again when he becomes a professional photographer.   Time flies, and they haven't been in touch at all. However, news at a class reunion reveals that Shizuru had actually passed away a year ago. Unable to believe it, Makoto boards a flight to New York in search of Shizuru...
