Makoto (played by Ryuhei Matsuda) is a struggling photographer on the edge. One day, he receives a letter from his ex-girlfriend Shizuru (played by Ryoko Hirosue), stating that she will hold a photography exhibition in New York. The box of memories opens, recalling their story from three years ago, which began with a beautiful orange. Their split originated when Shizuru asked Makoto to teach her photography.
