The story takes place in a jazz band called Louis Lester. Jesse (played by Angel Coulby) is the lead singer of the band, possessing a captivating voice and an exotic charm that even Prince George (played by John Hopkins) and Prince of Wales (played by Sam Troughton) cannot resist. However, beneath her seemingly optimistic and cheerful exterior, Jesse hides a tragic childhood backstory. Julian (played by Tom Hughes) was born into a prestigious family and has lived a life of luxury since childhood, naturally developing a proud and eccentric character. Julian works for American tycoon Mattesdon (played by John Goodman), who is a "loyal fan" of the Louis Lester band, thus allowing Julian to meet Jesse and become deeply infatuated with her. The languid music and swaying figures intertwine with a slowly flowing romance.
