In a major country located in the center of the continent, there is a girl in the emperor's harem, where the emperor's concubines live. Her name is Mao Mao. She used to be an apothecary on Flower Street and is currently working in the harem. One day, she hears rumors that the emperor's children have very short lifespans; the two sons currently in the palace are growing weaker due to illness.
