The young master (played by Kazunari Ninomiya), who grew up in Edo, is straightforward and reckless, ready to throw punches at the slightest disagreement. However, he would never lie or distort the truth. After causing a series of troubles, he is recommended by the principal (played by Koichi Sato) to teach at a remote and impoverished middle school. Before he leaves, his devoted maid, A Qing (played by Nobuko Miyamoto), repeatedly reminds him not to act impulsively. Bewildered, the young master arrives at the school, where the principal (played by Ichikawa Ko) is amicable, while the dean (played by Mitsuhiro Iwakawa), an alumnus of the University of Tokyo, is the real authority on campus, wielding power over everyone’s fate with sweetness on his lips but malice in his heart. The young master develops a camaraderie with a senior math teacher (played by Shinta Furuta), and their straightforwardness earns them the envy of the dean. Meanwhile, the English teacher (played by Koji Yamamoto) faces exclusion from the dean, who is pursuing the ice shaver girl (played by Nao Matsushita) he is in love with. The young master, caught in this vortex, will never bow down... This film is adapted from the work of Natsume Soseki.
