In the ancient city-state of the Central Continent, people lined the streets cheering and applauding the four-member team who defeated the Demon King. These four individuals are the hero Simir (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), the elven mage Furlian (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), the monk Heita (voiced by Hiroki Tochi), and the dwarven warrior Aizer (voiced by Yōji Ueda). At a grand banquet in the royal palace, the four friends enjoyed each other's company and reminisced about the joyous moments on their journey. As a shooting star streaked across the sky, they promised to meet in a better place to watch this once-in-fifty-years meteor shower. After that, Furlian bid farewell to her friends and set off on a journey to collect magic alone. Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, fifty years went by; she returned to the main city as promised. In stark contrast to the eternally youthful and ageless elf, her once handsome and strong friends had all aged. They looked back on the past but faced the inevitability of death with resignation.
