In Nazi Germany, a toy maker possesses a mysterious book that brings the inanimate to life. After escaping the SS under Hitler's orders to retrieve the book, the toy maker boards a train in an attempt to flee the country. What he does not realize is that a group of high-ranking Nazi officers is also on board. Eventually, his secret is uncovered, and the Nazis close in. However, the toy maker has already used this magical item to bring a vintage doll named Robert to life—and Robert will protect his master at any cost.
