"African Cats" is a film that tells a true story about wildlife that takes place on the African plains, narrated by Samuel L. Jackson. The main characters are two families of large cats: Mara, a young female lion; Fang, an adult male lion; and Sita, a female African cheetah. Their experiences of love, loyalty to their clans, hunting, leaving home, growing up, conflict, and death create an epic tale of wildlife on the African plains. Mara is a 6-month-old juvenile lioness. Her mother, Leah, is doing her utmost to care for her daughter. Mara is lively and playful, the good baby of the riverside pride, while her mother Leah is the most experienced hunter in the pride. However, an unexpected injury ends Leah's status as a "hunting expert." With her mother's position in jeopardy, the lonely Mara is also exposed to the dangers of the pride. Mara must learn to hunt quickly to secure her place in the pride and feed her and the male lion. Time is short, as her mother is severely injured and her future is uncertain. Moreover, a male lion from another pride is already scheming against this mother-daughter pair. Fang, the adult male lion, is the leader of the pride and got his name because he lost one of his canines during a fight, leaving him with just one tooth remaining. However, Fang's biggest concern is that his leadership is being coveted by another pride. That rival is Kely, who lives on the north bank of the river. Although Kely and his companions have their own territory, a characteristic of large cats is territorial disputes. They repeatedly test Fang's strength and attempt to expand their territory. In the nature that values absolute power, does Fang, weak and injured, still have any chance to protect his pride? Is his frail body gradually pushing the pride to the brink of danger? Sita is a beautiful African cheetah and a single mother with several cubs. These young ones, still not aware of the dangers of the wild, must rely on Sita, who is struggling to hunt and care for them on her own. To find food, she has to travel long distances. Being away from home for too long and too far may not be a good idea for a cheetah, which is not particularly good at long-distance running...
