A car accident brings a devastating blow to the family of sisters Xiu Fang (played by Xu Di) and Xiu Li (played by Chen Xiao Yi) — the only daughter of elder sister Xiu Fang, An Xin (played by Zhong Chu Xi), a young dance teacher, suffers severe injuries and loses her legs in the accident; Xiu Li's youngest son tragically dies, but her eldest daughter Ruo Hua (played by Yang Chao Yue) escapes unscathed. An Xin, who views dance as her life, struggles to cope with this immense setback, feeling disheartened and increasingly depressed. Her husband Qin Feng gradually withdraws and seeks to escape the marriage.
