A 30-year-old supermarket clerk named Seki, who leads a directionless and aimless life, accidentally gets stabbed by a delinquent one day. Near death and in a daze, he sees a beautiful angel with pure white wings descending from the sky. Seki thinks the angel has come to take him away, but to his surprise, after recovering and leaving the hospital, he finds the angel in his home. Despite feeling overwhelmed by the angel's indifference, he also feels sympathy for him, as the angel has lost his memory and can't fly. Thus, Seki decides to take him in.
