In the gloomy town of Honnoji, at the mysterious and terrifying Honnoji Academy, the high and mighty student council president Satsuki Kiryuin (voiced by Ryouka Yuzuki) rules with an iron fist. She commands the students with the "Goku Uniform," which is graded by the number of stars worn; the higher the grade, the stronger the combat power. One day, a girl carrying a single-bladed sword appears at the gate of Honnoji Academy. Her name is Matoi Ruiko (voiced by Ami Koshimizu), and she has come to this perilous place to investigate the true murderer of her father. Little did she know, soon after her arrival, she was intercepted by the student council's Four Heavenly Kings, including Gamagori Ira (voiced by Tohru Inada) and Sanketsu Yamaguchi (voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama).
