In the 1990s, in a small town in Northeast China called Hualin, the unexpected discovery of dismembered body parts causes a stir. Steelworker Wang Xiang (played by Fan Wei) has been diligent and principled all his life, yet he faces the harsh reality of being among the first to be laid off.
