Junhao (played by Ming Dao) acquires Guomei Fishing Village to transform it into a new tourist attraction, accompanied by his fiancée Yunzi (played by Zhao Hongqiao). They encounter Tianyu (played by Chen Qiaoen), who specializes in deceiving tourists, and thus a relationship begins to form between them. Unfortunately, Junhao loses the engagement ring he bought for Yunzi, which accidentally ends up in the hands of Yunzi while participating in a palanquin competition, leading Junhao to believe she is a gold-digging scammer. Junhao's friend Ziqian (played by Wang Shaowei) has always loved Yunzi. To help him win back his love, his sworn brother kidnaps Junhao on the day of his engagement to Yunzi, causing both men to fall into the sea. Junhao swims ashore seeking help but is confronted by Tianyu's family. After regaining consciousness, he loses his memory, and Tianyu's family deceives him into believing he is a mainland smuggler, giving him the name Tonghao and leaving him to work in a convenience store. Living in the simple fishing village, Junhao undergoes a complete personality transformation and unknowingly develops feelings for Tianyu. Just as romantic feelings develop between them, Junhao's memories gradually return, causing him to forget his past with Tianyu and prepare to marry Yunzi. How will Tianyu awaken Junhao's memories of love and save their relationship?
