The Zheng family in Dragon City is a typical large family. The older generation has close ties, and the younger generation of three cousins is even closer than siblings. The eldest cousin, Zheng Dongni (played by Ma Yili), has parents who have been in a strained marriage, filled with fighting and conflict for many years. The broken environment in which she grew up has shaped her rebellious and flamboyant personality. She desires to break free from the influence of her original family, which leads her to marry abroad.
