The ethereal Yanshan has two major sects, the Yanshan Sect at the mountain top and the Baihua Sect at the foot of the mountain. The mountain is filled with men, while the foot of the mountain is filled with women. The two sects coexist daily but are kept apart due to strict sect rules, stemming from past grudges between their founders. However, nothing can stop the youth’s longing for love, and thus begins a series of humorous and touching stories. Now among the four generations of disciples, the eldest disciple of the Yanshan Sect, Zhao Xingmu Yan, is outstanding in both looks and martial arts, yet he turns out to be a “Chuunibyou” iron straight man. By chance, he saves the Baihua Sect’s senior sister, Yue Qingqiu, who is also “straight,” leading to a romance between a wood and an iceberg. The second disciple of the Yanshan Sect, Gu Yulang, is exceptionally intelligent but unable to practice martial arts. Xia Xinho, a junior sister of Hua Jingxiang, and Tang Zongze’s junior succeeded in stealing a forbidden taste and was expelled from the sect, leading to a tragic end. Many years later, Xia Xinho masters her skills and comes back seeking revenge, putting both sects in danger.
