Asai Mikan (voiced by Tokimoto Orie) is an ordinary 15-year-old girl attending Kumagai Art Academy. Mikan is a very introverted girl who becomes flustered and speechless in crowded situations, lacking confidence in her abilities. However, this shy girl accidentally joins the school's drama club. How can someone who can barely speak in front of others perform on stage? She is supported by the endlessly trusting Yoyama Kayo (voiced by Miyakawa Miho), the seemingly indifferent but passionate senpai Ichinose Nono (voiced by Kawasumi Ayako), the cheerful and mischievous Nishida Kai (voiced by Kishio Daisuke), and the energetic and lively Nishida Risa (voiced by Hyogami Kyouko).
