Sakai Chiki (voiced by Yuuki Kaji) is a second-year middle school student who became interested in diving after accidentally witnessing the spectacular dive of Fujiwara Youichi (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai) during his childhood. After entering middle school, Chiki joined the school's diving team, where he sweats alongside the quiet and reserved Tokitsu Tobuki (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), the very candid and competitive Oogura Ryou (voiced by Ryoutaou Aisaka), and the calm, slightly neurotic Maruyama Reiji (voiced by Kouki Uchiyama).
