In 1997, the supercomputer Alchemy Star predicted that the Earth would be destroyed by a destructive alien entity. In 2000, a genius boy, Takamitsu Amane, encountered a mysterious giant of red light during an experiment. When the destructive entity launched its first attack, XIG was unable to take action.
