On the surface, Miyu (voiced by Mizuki Nagasawa) appears to be an ordinary girl, but she has a second identity—an Eastern vampire. However, as a vampire, Miyu's prey is not humans; on the contrary, her mission is to rescue humans who have been corrupted by "demons," using any means necessary, even sending humans to hell. The "demons" are creatures adept at manipulating human minds, lurking deep within the human psyche, waiting for the perfect moment to erupt, which often means death for humans. Miyu drives out the demons from human bodies through blood-sucking and eliminates them. Meanwhile, her persistent enemy, Reiyu (voiced by Megumi Ogata), is always in hot pursuit. During the course of the battle, Miyu gradually realizes that the demons are not the true enemies; the real enemy is the manipulator hiding behind the demons. Only by eliminating the manipulator can humanity achieve eternal salvation. When the true face of the manipulator appears before Miyu, she is left in shock.
