The new semester at Sakurako High School has begun, which not only means many new faces will appear on campus but also that a grand battle for club recruitment is about to unfold. The naturally clueless girl Hirasawa Yui (voiced by Aki Toyosaki) is filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety about her new school life, and at this moment, a boisterous girl, Nakano Azusa (voiced by Satou Satomi), appears in front of her. Under Azusa's enthusiastic invitation, somewhat slow-witted Yui inexplicably becomes the guitarist for the "Light Music Club."
