After the thrilling battle against Cell, the Z Warriors welcome a new generation. Under the protection of Gohan (voiced by Masako Nozawa) and his friends, Earth experiences a long yet fleeting peace for seven years. Now a handsome young man, Gohan commutes to school daily and during this time, befriends Mr. Satan's daughter, Videl. Amidst cheers from around the world, the long-awaited World Martial Arts Tournament is announced once again.
