An ordinary high school girl, Kurumi Hinata (voiced by Noriko Kuwashima), has always led a mundane yet happy life. Until one day, she is told that she is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc. Initially, Hinata is shocked and skeptical about this revelation, but the various magical occurrences that follow force her to confront this reality. This unique identity bestows upon her a mission she must fulfill: to seal away the demons hidden throughout the world to prevent them from harming humanity. However, this righteous act is misunderstood. As a result, Joan is branded as a phantom thief, becoming the target of many, including the phantom thief Sinbad, who is none other than her classmate, Wako Nagoya (voiced by Nobutaka Chihaya), who pursues and protects her. Thus begins a series of thrilling phantom thief adventures in the night sky. The film is based on the manga of the same name by artist Arina Tanemura.
