A long time ago, the Hanyuu clan wandered to settle in Hinamizawa. Although they hoped to coexist with the local residents, they were rejected due to xenophobia, leading to a bloody event. At that time, Hanyuu negotiated with the shrine priest of the Furude shrine in human form and had a child with the priest's successor. The priest realized that this situation couldn't continue, so he demanded they obey several strict rules. Furthermore, to quell mutual suspicion, a sacrifice was needed. Hanyuu accepted these demands and willingly became the "chaotic demon god" recorded in ancient texts, falling beneath the sword of her daughter (according to ancient texts of the Furude family). The villagers took on the sins and responsibilities of both sides, resulting in the peaceful coexistence of the "demon god" worshiped as OYASHIROSAMA. However, Hanyuu did not die in that way. When she revived again, Hinamizawa had returned to its normal state, and the two sides coexisted harmoniously, while she silently watched over their growth for a long time in the identity of OYASHIROSAMA. It wasn't until Rika's arrival that she was freed from her loneliness.
