Kanagi Kazuha (voiced by Daisuke Ono) was born into a prestigious family skilled in fire magic, but due to his lack of talent, he was cast out by his father, Kanagi Seima (voiced by Rikiya Koyama). By chance, Kazuha encountered the powerful Wind Spirit King and formed a contract with it, granting him the Saint's Mark of the Wind and making him the strongest wind mage. Time flies, and it has been four years since Kazuha left Japan. Upon returning to the land he calls home, all he desires is a peaceful life. One day, Kazuha meets a girl named Kanagi Ayano (voiced by Ayane Sakura), the eldest daughter of the Kanagi clan and the next clan leader. Despite Ayano's tsundere and slow-witted personality, Kazuha senses the kindness hidden deep within her heart, and the two begin to act together, setting the wheels of fate in motion.
