The world is controlled by the four noble families. Oz (voiced by Junko Minagawa) is the next head of the Vessalius family. However, during his coming-of-age ceremony at the age of fifteen, he is wrongfully convicted for the nonsensical reason of "existence" and is imprisoned in the Abyss, where he cannot be reborn. In prison, Oz meets Alice (voiced by Daisuke Ono), known as the "Bloody Black Rabbit." With Alice's help, Oz successfully escapes from prison and unexpectedly returns to ten years earlier. After regaining his freedom, Oz decides to uncover the truth behind the incident and identify the mastermind behind the efforts to erase his existence. During this process, Alice also attempts to regain her lost memories with Oz's assistance. The two arrive at the legendary forbidden place; what secrets are hidden there?
