The animation is adapted from the novel of the same name by Japanese light novelist Iruma Rintarou. Niwa Makoto (voiced by Iino Miy自由) is a simple young man from the countryside who, just before entering high school, arrives in a bustling metropolis. The ceaseless flow of crowds and the dazzling streets excite Niwa Makoto, and a plan to boost his youth points emerges in his mind. The plan is as follows: by talking to cute girls or making trendy moves, his youth points will increase, while doing the opposite will decrease them. This way, becoming a cool and stylish young man before graduation will no longer be just a dream. In the metropolis, Niwa Makoto lives with his aunt, only to find out that a very peculiar girl, Eriou (voiced by Okame Asuka), whom he thought was living alone, is actually staying there. Thus begins the cohabitation life between Niwa Makoto and Eriou. With such a point-decreasing girl by his side, can Niwa Makoto still achieve his dreams?
