Kiki is 13 years old this year, and according to the rules of the magical world, magical girls must go out for a year of training upon reaching the age of 13. So Kiki sets off on her training journey with her pet black cat, Jiji. However, the journey doesn't start smoothly; when Kiki arrives in a big city by the sea, people do not welcome her and ignore her. Fortunately, Kiki has a kind heart; when she finds someone else's lost item, she eagerly seeks its owner. Her kindness wins the affection of the bakery owner, and Kiki starts her delivery service using her flying magic at the bakery. Kiki quickly adapts to the new environment, and one day, a boy who is passionate about aircraft manufacturing invites her to join a flying club gathering. On the way, Kiki gets caught in the rain while helping an elderly lady deliver something. From then on, Kiki suddenly realizes that her magic is weakening day by day.
