The story takes place on the campus of the private Takato Academy. This year, childhood friends Yuki Oshima (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) and Chitora Sumiyoshi (voiced by Eriko Nakamura) both advance to their second year. As students, after-school club activities are an essential part of campus life, and Yuki and Chitora, along with their classmate Fuyumi Kiba (voiced by Kaori Mizuhashi), organize the "Food Research Club." Though it’s called a research club, it’s essentially just a gathering to share delicious snacks, but this simple activity brings the girls incredibly joyful after-school moments. Unfortunately, the biggest rival of the research club, Satsuki Shinonome (voiced by Yu Asakawa), has declared, "Dissolve clubs with no actual achievements," and she is likely to be elected as the president of the student council. To protect their beloved club, the girls decide to join the election as competitors, sparking a passionate battle to protect their club.
