The chairman of a large corporation, Crossword, is afflicted by a mysterious disease known as "Chimera." He has built a mansion on a small island. His illness causes severe dehydration whenever he has an attack, and though he craves large amounts of water, any he drinks is immediately expelled from his body in a terrifying manner. Ultimately, he dies emitting a blue light from his mouth. He calls for Black Jack to perform treatment, but the cause remains completely elusive. The only doctor on the island also succumbed to the same disease, ultimately leading to his death. The islanders gradually express distrust towards Crossword, believing he is responsible for the mass outbreak of Chimera, and they set out towards his mansion armed with weapons...
