This is a world where gods truly exist, just as myths tell, with deities playing different roles in their respective domains. However, gradually, some evil gods begin to be restless, seeking to expand their desires and power, which can bring about devastating disasters. Thus, some boys and girls with special abilities capable of killing gods emerge, and we call them Godslayers. Kusanagi Hitoya (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) is an ordinary high school student who, by chance, defeats a war god and inherits his powers, opening up a path of god-slaying before him. Meanwhile, the girl Erica (voiced by Yoko Hikasa), the shrine maiden Kaname (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), and Erica's friend Liliana (voiced by Eri Kitamura) gradually discover their own abilities. As the battles deepen, they realize that fighting alone is not the right way; only by uniting, utilizing their strengths to hide their weaknesses, can they hope to defeat the final, most terrifying, and most powerful enemy.
