The non-blood-related Tsuzuki Kyou (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) and Tsuzuki Otome (voiced by Satou Satomi) run a struggling pastry shop called "stray cats." Otome's ditzy personality and tendency to pick up anything she finds drives Kyou crazy. Additionally, her skills in pastry-making and shop management further jeopardize the already precarious business. However, with the help of their childhood friend Sawamura Koyono (voiced by Kanae Itou), Kyou’s daily life remains relatively calm. One day, everything changes dramatically when Otome brings home a “stray cat” that looks just like a tsundere girl! The cat is named Kirigayaki Nozomi (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), and despite Kyou's initial cry of “get rid of her,” he is impressed by Nozomi's incredible baking skills and decides to keep her to help out. Thus, Kyou's joyful life with the stray cat begins, accompanied by a group of friends.
