The story takes place in the Gama Gama Aquarium, where high school student Aizaki Nozomi (voiced by Miku Ito) serves as the acting director. She is passionate about running the aquarium and loves the animals within it, but due to poor management, the aquarium faces the constant threat of closure. 　　Miyazawa Fuuka (voiced by Rika Adachi) once dreamed of becoming an idol, but after going through a series of setbacks, she chose to give up on her aspirations and came to Okinawa alone to heal. In Okinawa, Fuuka encounters Aizaki Nozomi, and a genuine friendship develops between the two girls. Koudaka Karine (voiced by Lynn), who works at the city tourism association, Nakamura Kai (voiced by Shinya Tsuchiya), who often helps at the aquarium, and the aquarium caretaker Yokama Shikou (voiced by Youhei Azakami) soon become friends with Fuuka.
