On the romantic and splendid streets of France, a black-haired girl in a red kimono appears, her figure starkly out of place in the environment yet radiating an irresistible charm that captures everyone's attention. The kimono girl is named Yumino (voiced by Nao Toyama), who has traveled all the way from Nagasaki, Japan, hoping to find a satisfactory job in France. Through an introduction, Yumino meets a French boy named Claude (voiced by Takashi Kondo) and starts working at the "King's Gallery" ironwork shop, which he runs together with his grandfather Oscar (voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka). At first, Yumino struggles to adapt to life in a foreign country, but after meeting the exceptionally enthusiastic Lady Alice (voiced by Aoi Yuki), who is passionate about Japanese culture, she gradually becomes familiar with her customers and friends, coming to understand France's unique customs and traditions. Meanwhile, through their daily life and studies, Yumino and Claude develop a solid friendship, becoming very important to each other.
