The story takes place at the Municipal Ribin High School, where Haruka (voiced by Nishida Nozomi) is a new freshman who has just entered high school. Once, as the captain of the baseball team, she held endless hopes for Koshien, but an accident caused her to give up on her dream in despair. Now, the high school is one without a baseball club. Although she secretly breathes a sigh of relief, Haruka also feels a bit disappointed. Is baseball truly a dream she cannot let go of? In school, Haruka makes friends with girls who are passionate about baseball: the tsundere daughter of a baseball family, Tohgane Ryu (voiced by Kondo Reina), the devilishly attractive, gentle, and caring Nozaki Yuki (voiced by Minami Saki), and the cheerful and naturally airheaded Kitagawa Tomoe (voiced by Inoue Honoka).
