"Les Misérables" is a musical created by French composers Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, adapted from the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo. Set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, the story follows the protagonist Jean Valjean, who, years after receiving a heavy sentence, plans to redeem himself and change society after being released on parole, but encounters numerous difficulties.
