In the new year, the joyful stories of the Nagakura family in Kamakura continue to unfold. Chihiro Yoshino (played by Kyoko Koizumi) gets promoted to Deputy Minister, and she finds herself deeply nostalgic for the on-site experiences. In contrast, Heiwa Nagakura (played by Kuniaki Nakai) is punished with a dual appointment as the head of the tourism promotion and secretary sections due to the failure of a world heritage application, and the quirky mayor has a complicated relationship with him.
