Hinode Toyokawa (voiced by Minami Tanaka) lost her mother when she was very young, and for all these years, she has been living a life of dependence with her father. One day, Hinode moves with her father to her mother's hometown, Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, and not only that, she is about to attend the school her mother once attended, which excites her greatly. Under the invitation of her classmate Rimi Kagawa (voiced by Yu Serizawa), Hinode joins a pottery club, where she learns for the first time that her mother was a very talented potter during her lifetime.
