Mizunazuki Kagyō (voiced by Shin'ichirō Takahashi) was born into a very traditional Japanese confectionery family, but what he truly wants to make is exquisite Western pastries. To realize his dream, Mizunazuki Kagyō leaves his hometown and establishes his own brand, La Soleil, becoming the shop's manager and pastry chef. One day, Kagyō unexpectedly discovers two cat girls, Vanilla (voiced by Iori Saeki) and Chocolate (voiced by Yuki Yagi), hiding in a package sent from his hometown. Soft-hearted Kagyō ultimately decides to take them in. Afterward, the bold and outgoing Red Bean (voiced by Shiori Izawa), the highly self-respecting Kaede (voiced by Miku Ito), the gentle Katsura (voiced by Sayaka Nagato), and the mature and composed Coconut (voiced by Maririn Mizutani) also successively come to Kagyō's side.
