The story takes place in the ancient yet prosperous Kyoto, where the izakaya Nobu, run by Aizawa Nobuyuki (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), is located. Chika Shinobu (voiced by Suzuko Mimori) works as a waitress in the establishment, and the two make a highly compatible pair. Little do they know, at some point, the door to Nobu has connected to the entrance of the other world, Aiteria, where otherworldly residents come to unwind and enjoy drinks every day. Among them are Hans (voiced by Atsushi Abe), who has an intense passion for draft beer; the bright and slightly carefree Nicholas (voiced by Shoutarou Morikubo); Berthold (voiced by Kazuya Nakai), who looks fierce but is actually very gentle; and the meticulous tax officer Gnot (voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda). They gather at Nobu to enjoy their precious moments of relaxation.
