The protagonist, Misaki Suzuhara, moves to Tokyo to live with her aunt while attending junior high school. Upon arriving in Tokyo, Misaki is captivated by the mechanical angel battles displayed on the large screen at the train station. Encouraged by a man in a white coat, she purchases a mechanical angel egg. From this angel egg, Misaki raises her own angel, Hikaru, and begins to compete in angel battles. During this time, she makes new friends and continually surpasses her past self, ultimately achieving victory in the national angel battles.
